Mil reminds me of someone's aunt I heard about, who terrorised greengrocers in the old days. She'd ask for half a pound of tomatoes, and if the greengrocer said 'it's just a bit under/over, shall I add one/take one away?' she'd say 'well I did ask for half a pound', and keep saying that until they gave her an extra one for free.
