Life is far simpler than we imagine and infinitely more complicated than we can ever know.

Someone who I once treasured deeply used to tell me that 'we complicate the simple things.'
And yet, the more I would think about that statement, the less I believed in the 'simplicity' of the things that drive us to great levels of passion.
Love is not simple, and life is not simple, so how can we help but complicate them?
