HI, Chanced upon your query while I was blog surfing. Yes, the entire Polaroid factory will be closing, so if you intend to get the cameras you have 3 options: 1. Buy alot of them and freeze them in a freezer (freezing stops chemical deterioration and you'd be surprised with the beautiful effects of expired polaroid film) 2. Buy them online when you need them (I'm sure it'd be extremely expensive, but in stock) 3. *zeng*, or modify, your Polaroid so they can take in Fujifilm instant film.
If you want to avoid this altogether, just get a Fujifilm instant camera! :)
