Since I'm so consistent with my obsessions, I decided to watch the "On the Waterfront" movie. Why? a bore? "You don't understand! I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I could've been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am."

Brando won the Oscar for this movie. And it also won Best Picture. Highly influential movie in the history of cinema. Maybe its a little dated, but its definitely right up there consistently in discussions about one of the greatest movies of all time.

Yes, I know this is supposed to be one of the long standing movies through time and that it is to some THE classic movie of the 50's. Still, it kept boring me to death. I'll finish watching it today because I have to see it through, but definitely I'm a creature of the new century 0.0

Well, yeah, that's right. Brando's performance is superb. I can't actually feel the actor behind the character, which means the character really took form.

Still, there's some charm in this movie. Brando y Eva Marie Saint are about the age of my grandparents, and since my grandpa used to work at a movie theather and he was in charge of putting the movie on; it's not hard to imagine him and my grandma going to see it when they were young. They must have love it, I'm sure of it. My grandpa loved gangsters and stuff.
