the hardest thing about picking the best music of the year is having to leave off albums that might be better, but you havent had a chance to listen to them enough. as i made this list, there were a few things i wanted to add, but then i noticed that they came out in 2004. i never included them in my 2004 list because i hadnt heard enough of them ( Read more... )

they were talking about a bunch of "unknown" bands this morning and they mentioned the magic numbers and m.i.a.
i liked what i heard of magic numbers and an interesting thing they mentioned of the latter band is that the girl's father is a well known political activist or something along those lines.

i'm an idiot and haven't read your blog in a while. it made me smile. especially the halloween costume pictures. those are probably the best pictures i've ever seen of you. (usually you send barely identifiable things CALLED pictures...) plus, it was nice to see the face of a really terrific person you care about. :)
anyway, just dropping in to tell you you're great and i love you!
