ice storm/last ride sorta/trees/ getting old

well, not maybe a huge storm, but drizzly rain freezing when it hits. Started about an hour ago. I need to go out and get the horses in before they get soaked. Joy and spot have no shelter except to get up next to the building... but they have thick greasy coats and will be fine till it gets light enough out for me to find them and bring them in.

I'm glad PAtirck has a home! sounds wonderful! and of course best to go with your gut instinct about people. i'm sure something will turn up for Spook.
I've slept in the den all night because grams and gramps were here, as well as Biker Mike and Violet. So Linda went to sleep at Sarah's and I slept in here on the blowup matress. I've been hearing little spatters of rain on the window since last night. I quite enjoy it. I don't see ice, but it's later than when you posted. Snow would be wonderful! I certainly hope we get some!
