That's lovely. I don't know how I missed the previous two but I did. You have lovely phrasing: that seems to wrap John in boyish anticipation and sweet, tempting strength, and enhances his tanned skin. is particularly nice. I'll have to read the others, as well.
Fantastic. Your writing makes my heart swell up. I adore your all-knowing, ever-patient narrator, reassuring Sherlock even when he can't hear it. I just want to babble at you about how much your writing makes me feel.
Oh, thank you so much for your comment!! I loved that you described the narrator as "all-knowing, ever-patient", "reassuring Sherlock even when he can't hear it"; that was exactly my idea, and you expressed it in a really beautiful way. Thnaks again! <3
Okay, I saved this for today because I wanted to make sure I was awake enough to appreciate it. And I'm glad I did.
"Be prepared for the revolution."
I love your writing so much I nearly hate it. I want to punch your writing in the face (but not really because if your writing anthropomorphised into a person I'm sure that person would have a very pretty face, and I would not want to punch your writing's pretty face). I love your long-suffering, wise narrator.
