PART I: SHORT & SWEET.

TRIGGERS. L Lawliet, detectives and criminal things, death, fate. He can react to these in a number of different ways.
MEDICAL INFO. He's pretty healthy, presumably, though of course prone to viruses and getting sick. His vision is perfect (or nearly) and doesn't have any allergies or illnesses.
MENTAL INFO. LMFAO, OKAY. B IS NOT MENTALLY HEALTHY. he can be way more distant than a person should be, and at the opposite extreme if he likes you he will cling to you like a leech, only bigger and more dangerous. he's not particularly violent, but if you provoke him he'll fight with you. he has his pride. he is a very sad and angry boy and if you are skilled, you can manipulate him.
FOURTH-WALLING. no fourth-walling, please. ♥
PHYSICAL CONTACT. if it's positive, feel free to do it (kissing, hugging, etc.) and if I end up having an issue about it I'll contact you. if it's negative (punching, kicking, pulling his hair or something that annoys him) please contact me first (more details are below in the tl;dr).
ROMANCE/SEXUAL RELATIONS. WELL... I actually already have plans in place for his sexual partners and lover. feel free for your character to uh, for some bizarre reason like him and let him know, or something.
INJURE/KILL. oh my god please do not. if I want this specifically I will ask you, but if I don't, it is totally not okay to injure, maim, mutilate or murder my baby Beyond.
DEVICE HACKING. B isn't an EXPERT hacker by any means, and since he's from 2001, definitely not with this technology. if something is specifically private/unhackable it'll be marked as such, so please respect when it is, but he probably won't be hacking anybody else's things, even if you were to ask.

PART II: TL;DR.

Beyond Birthday possesses a pair of shinigami eyes, or eyes of the 'death god.' These allow him to see the name and death date of any human being with the exception of:
✩ immortal humans
✩ undead humans
✩ fractional humans (i.e., some fraction of the person is another species)
✩ any human who owns a Death Note
Beyond is unable to cease the function of these eyes, and for that reason if a character is a living human who doesn't own a Death Note he will know that character's real name and lifespan. I am willing to forego playing his IC reaction to seeing their name and lifespan, however, if your character has strange circumstances regarding their real name or death date, or if that's information that hasn't been canonically released. If you'd specifically like me to avoid IC mention of the character's name or death date, please don't hesitate to ask me.
Knowledge that B gains without the knowledge of his shinigami eyes, however, may or may not be used against a character. He's very arbitrarily vicious and often does what he can to get under the skin of characters he isn't fond of. If he does expose information and it doesn't jive with your plans for your character, please talk to me about it; I can't guarantee that I'll change it (of course if it's something huge, of course I'll change it -- he isn't going to give away, say, L's identity), but I'm always willing to discuss things.
That said, Beyond is a canon loser! He doesn't get to win in his canon and I certainly don't believe he should win all the time when I roleplay him. So onto the next section.

✩ Kissing B: Absolutely go for it. On the cheek, full on the lips, on the hand, whatever you like. Depending on how he feels about the character he may return a kiss, he may become flustered, or he may attempt to punch them. If for some reason kissing him interferes with something else I'm plotting, I'll contact you about it and ask for a change. As it is, kissing him is absolutely fine (so long as he can get away if he wants to!).
✩ Hugging B: Again, totally cool with me, so long as it's possible for him to wriggle away.
✩ Punching, kicking, or otherwise initiating a physical fight with B: Beyond is not a fighting character. He's by no means weak, but he certainly isn't a fighter. If he's surprised with a fight he wouldn't dodge very well, and having a physical altercation forced on him needs to be written a specific way depending on the circumstances surrounding it. He will fight back if he can, and it will probably be dirty, too; he will also attempt to recruit support for himself. For that reason I ask that if your character is going to start a fight with him, please please please contact me about it beforehand. It isn't that I mind fighting with B at all, it's just that it's something that needs to be planned carefully.
✩ Tutsing his barreh: Please don't molest my baby IC. He's already a little off in the head, and I have plans for his barreh.

Beyond is possessive enough, I think, to warrant a separate section consisting of General Relations. To summarize:
✩ Please be aware that if your character is less than polite to a character Beyond cares for, he is prone to retaliation on a friend or lover's behalf. It's just like him to butt in that way in some cases.
✩ An enemy of L's is probably an enemy of B's. Anyone who shows even disrespect to L may incur B's private wrath.
✩ He may or may not be telling the truth to your characters. It is one hundred percent personal (ICly, that is. not OOCly). Beyond plays favorites and if he doesn't like you, he will probably have fun with you by twisting your words until you're not even sure what you're thinking anymore. As a note, if he's blatantly lying I'll state it OOCly, and if he's being unusually honest I'll let you know that as well.
✩ While canonically B doesn't show himself to be very materialistically possessive, in roleplay he may develop some material attachments -- certain clothes, brands of strawberry jam, et cetera. If you steal his stuff, he's going to be pretty pissed at you. Which leads me to the third section.

"What in the world is this mun doing, babbling about Beyond Birthday and not mentioning his VIOLENT, GORY, MURDEROUS TRAITS?" you may be asking yourself. Well, here I am to answer that very good question, and answer it in parts.
Beyond Birthday is not an evil, gory, murderous boy.
That was part one, if you need a label. Pop quiz on part one! The question is: "Is Beyond Birthday a violent, gory human being?" If you answered "no," or even "that's what you said up there," then A+. Gold star. Extra recess for you, as long as you let me play too. B is not going to go on murderous rampages barring extreme situations. I realize a lot of other muns may play up his supposed tendency to kill, but nowhere in canon does Beyond enjoy killing human beings. He's never stated to be squeamish about it, but he does not enjoy murdering people. He finds it boring. I hope this is clear because my abuse of bold and italics tags really ought to make it so. Now, to the question some of you (those of you who are horrible to your characters, why you do this) might be asking.
Will B kill my character if I ask you to?
Sorry, B probably isn't going to kill your character. Or maim them, or sexually assault them. He's snarky and an asshole, but he doesn't enjoy murdering people. Now, if you absolutely require to stay alive that B goes after your character violently... I suggest you talk to the L mun or the muns of any other characters B really cares for, because that would be one of the few things to incite violent rage, hurting someone he, uh, loves, in his totally healthy and non-creepy way.
On the other side of that, those wonderful muns who are scared of this generally harmless kiddo:
Is my character in danger from this psychopath?
No, probably not. Additionally they probably shouldn't feel like they're in danger from him specifically (that is, even though you and I know that he's a murderer, your character probably shouldn't realize it unless they're L-level intuitive). So no, B won't bite. You can feed him. ♥

Tagging
✩ Threadhopping: Highly dependent on the thread, so please ask me first.
✩ Threadjacking: Whether this is allowed in the game or not (please understand this post applies to various games) please please please please please clear a threadjacking with me and whatever other muns are involved before it happens. Beyond needs to be able to react to everyone he's interacting with at the time and that can involve some really heavy writing on my part; additionally, if you're going to threadjack, please be willing to finish the thread or at least give me and the other mun(s) involved a plausible reason for our characters to finish with the sudden disappearance of yours.
✩ Backtagging: As I frequently fall behind due to RL, slow writing, general waiting, etc., of course I don't mind a reasonable level of backtagging. However, if you'd like to skip the backtagging and just decide what happened from the last tag, I'm fine with that as well. Backtagging weeks and weeks can be frustrating for both of us, so if it's taking a long time, I might ask to simply decide what happened in the thread as well.
