It's so hot up here today that the sweat won't stop rolling down my body. My hands are so damp the touch pad on my laptop won't respond. I think this is the heat wave that you East Coasters had a while ago.
"Ugh" doesn't even begin to describe it. Thank goodness it's supposed to cool down over the next few days--just in time for the Blues Festival on the water front on the 4th.
Don't even mention Blues Festival! LOL. We have one here this weekend and it's a block away at the fairgrounds and they won't pay for a decent sound company so the whole freaking neighborhood has to listen to it! I am so sick of it at this point, and there's 3 more hours and another day to go. I'm just glad it's cool enough I don't have to have my windows open.
I watered the yard and garden in the morning, but stayed inside most of the day with the air conditioner running. The thermometer read over a hundred, but it was never sunny. I wouldn't be surprised if there are thunderstorms tonight. That's what the air feels like.
We had sun all day. I should have pretended I was a flower and watered myself with the hose. I'll just stare at my icon and try to remember how good the water felt. *g* I had to go grocery shopping today. I have rented a car for the weekend so at least I had air conditioning. My apartment doesn't have air conditioning.
