Looking back (because I can't see ahead *g*)

Happy New Year! What a beautiful post. I have hopes because I think the human spirit is strong and compassionate. We will survive this. We become stronger in hard times. Here's hoping for a better year for everyone. And I know we say that every year. We'll work together and make it happen.

I think that younger folks picked up some good habits of necessity this year. I answered lots questions from first time gardeners and bakers. One of the neatest things was watching a group of twenty-something room mates sitting on the floor at the back of Territorial seed company trying to figure out what seeds to buy. They were in the right place. Local seed source. Hope their garden was fantastic.

Happy New Year! Are you watching the rose parade?

You had told me about helping first-time gardeners and I was thinking about that when I wrote my entry.

Happy New Year to you as well. I didn't watch the parade but watched a little of the game. I'm sorry Oregon lost.
