So, for those of you who don't know, I've started brewing beer. My first beer has a very hoppy start which I'm hopping will mellow with a little age in the bottle. It still tastes good, but can be harsh to people who don't like the hoppy flavor ( Read more... )

What's floating at the top? Yeast? Or, did you add something to the secondary to get a different flavor? (fruit, I assume?)

they're frozen, which breaks all the cell walls allowing the fruit to get all in there and stuff

i'm thinking 2 weeks in the secondary.

yes. it tastes kinda like guinness now... with some mellowing and the raspberry flavor... this could be really good.
