You're adorable.

Just so you know.

Oh, I don't think I've ever been called adorable before. Annoying - yes, but never adorable. =)

I liked how typically teenager-y Daph and Justin were being with this: part of her was suppressing the urge to say how cool it would be to discover a dead body.

And this line was gold: I grinned down at Luke, who was still laughing. Fuck 'em all.

And Luke's oral fixation = hilarious!!

Are all your chapters this long? Just how high is the word count?

Justin and Daphne have such a great friendship--Daphne features a lot more heavily in this story than she did in canon, so we'll be seeing a lot of their banter and antics. I love them together. Such sillies.

Re Luke's oral fixation, Justin has an interesting train of thought in the next chapter about the genetics of giving head... Lol.

These last two chapters have only been 5k! Once we really get going, the chapters will increase to an average of 7k, though some of them go up to 9k, I think... The total word count is about 108k. So, er, we've got quite a bit ahead of us.

I can't wait to see you next week--you give such great feedback!

Thanks! I know the general set-up is a bit old, but I'm trying to mix it a little bit. Things will be heating up int he next few chapters, and we'll definitely be seeing a lot more of Brian.

See you next week!

I really love this story. It's complex and has a lot of meat on it's bones. So many conflicts all at once. It's really great to see a new fic that doesn't feel like an insert plot A into the plot B slot rinse and repeat, type fic.

Thanks so much for sharing this. I have never been a fan of Justin has a kid stories, or at least I haven't read a lot of them that I liked, but this one grabs your right away.

Thank you! The concept is a bit cliched, but I really wanted to do something different with it, and also take a bit more time than most people usually do with kidfic plots. I hope that you continue to think so highly of it when things start to get a lot more intense in the coming chapters.

(Truth be told, I have yet to read a quality Justin-has-a-kid fic. It's one of my secret reasons for writing this.)

Oh before I forget. Your banner is one of the best I have seen. It's simple, but conveys how the story should make you feel. It almost looks like a Criterion collection DVD cover ( I love those so much). I love the font and would like to ask if you mind sharing the name of it. I collect fonts and I don't think I have this one.

Wow--thank you! I'm not a terribly artistic person if it doesn't come with knitting needles, and I'm a just a novice Photoshopper... I'm ten kinds of thrilled that you think it's so good! *glows*

I'm not sure what the font was, but I can check when I get home. I'll be sure to let you know!
