I started to get a bit peeved at Justin over discounting Brian the way he was, Brian never was a guy that did what you expected him to do, and even though Justin is raw at the moment I am sad he didn't see that about Brian right away. I think that Brian respects Justin, but also Brian is Brian and being aloof and outside of a situation is his usual MO. Oh how I love this story. I have never liked a Justin with a kid story this much.

ETA: I have never been someone that would flip to the last page of a book to see how it ends, but this story has me on the edge of my seat in a way, so waiting for the end is killing me :)

Whew! Sorry for the delay, LJ is only just coming up for me this morning.

Justin has a bit of a trust issue with adults at the moment, and especially with Brian, he's determined not to set himself up for a fall. This is where it really becomes evident the ways in which this Justin is different than canon S1 Justin. Though Brian is a bit put off by Luke. Commitment, domesticity, all that rot.

Lol. I don't want to say anything about the ending, except that it'll have you on the edge of your seat up until the very last word.

I loved this chapter,I believe he would have made it too,and I'm glad Brian sees that aswell.

Eh. He would have made it, but it would have sucked major monkey balls. I think Brian was indulging Justin a bit. *g*

Glad to see that Brian has not cut Justin out of his live....at least that's my impression and my hope.

Nope, it doesn't look like he did. How much of a part of his life he's willing to let Justin have, though, remains to be seen.

Michael is annoying, but then again, that's how he is in S1. But don't worry, we won't see too much of him.

I love the bit of flirting between Brian and Justin when Brian got to Debbie's.

Why does Justin include Brian with Lindsay and Melanie in thinking he's an irresponsible jerk-off? It was Brian who tried to help and got Debbie involved. I hope Justin realizes he's wrong about that.

Brian pulling him into the bedroom to fuck: fantastic!

Whew! Sorry for the delay in responding, LJ just came up for me this morning.

Justin includes Brian because of this line:

"Your mom's been raising other peoples' children for years. I don't think two more are going to kill her."

Also, Justin's got trust issues with adults right now, and was sort of quietly defensive throughout the whole dinner. He was kind of looking for excuses to say no one liked him.

I still can't post anything to LJ, but the moment I can, the next chapter will be going up!
