Brian and Justin here, together - priceless - I can't even quote something because all of it was so ... them.

Cal coming back so broken, and killing himself - heartbreaking. Justin with Luke - one of the most awesome father-son duo I read in the fandom - how protective and in sync Justin is with the baby!!! Love everything about this story and can't wait for more.

Thanks! Writing Brian/Justin dialog is always great fun. Cal's story is a sad one, but it's quick. I didn't want to draw it out. And I'm glad that you're so on-board with Justin's relationship with Luke! They're probably a little more attached than is healthy, but given what they've been through, it's expected.

Chapter 12 will be going up later today, to make up for the missed chapter on Wednesday. Look for it!

This story is so amazing. I love Justin and Brian's interactions. its such a sad and tough story, but so much more as well. It just makes me cry and smile and get angry and hopeful at the same time :D

OK, read this late last night after a very looong day... but wasn't awake enough to write a coherent comment! LOL!

Loved it! A little shocked to see Cal return, even more shocked at that last line. Hopefully, Justin will feel a bit better about having let Cal see Luke.

But w/ the death of Luke's Mom, and now his grandfather, coupled w/ Justin own father's reaction the poor thing must have sever abandonment issues! No wonder he's so clingy w/ Luke, even though he say it the baby who's being clingy! I mean, even thinking to peak in the hall to check on him w/ a naked Brian in the room!

Cal's return wasn't supposed to be an on-going thing, which is why I told you guys about the suicide in the last line. I didn't want anyone getting ideas about plotlines for him, only to find out three paragraphs into the next chapter that he's dead. As for how Justin deals with Cal's death... Well, you'll see.

Justin has serious trust issues going on, especially with Cal's death. He's overprotective with Luke, also. Don't worry, though, I think he'll eventually realize that he's got some problems going on.
