Thank you! I'm glad that you enjoyed it--it was a blast to write, especially Luke.

Lol--thank you! Luke and Gus are indeed besties! I had soooo much fun playing with them. I'm sure that Jennifer and Debbie are both highly amused by how much they stress their parents out.

Sadly, with this fic published, I'm finally moving my "Breakneck" folder from "In Progress" to "Finished", so it's pretty unlikely that I'll add anything to it. But you never know, I suppose!

I'm finally moving my "Breakneck" folder from "In Progress" to "Finished" as long there are some other 'in progress' goodies we'll get to read soon *bats eyelashes*

Yay! A (possible) happy ending for Justin and Luke! I love Justin's fierce independence trying to make it on his own rather than doing the fanfic-usual of living with Brian, but I'm sure living full-time with "creative child" Luke would drive Brian bonkers.

One of the original purposes of writing Breakneck was as a kind of backlash against those fics where Justin and Brian play happy families in the loft and Brian takes care of everything, and this is an extension of that.

I see Brian and Justin in this kind of relationship, where they live separately but Brian spends a lot of time over at Justin's anyway, until Luke is at least twelve. After that, things might get a little more serious, but you never know with Brian.

Thanks so much for reading and for taking the time to comment! It's good to see you again.

Gorgeoys, lovely fic! Justin and Brian have continued their non-traditional relationship, doing it their way. Justin is an awesome parent, although a precocious Luke may just cause all that lovely blonde hair to be ripped out. 'grins' Hope to see further fics in this verse. :)

Thank you! One of my favorite things about Brian and Justin is they non-traditional relationship, and it always annoys me when people try to make their relationship "normal".

Writing Luke was a joy. Absolutely. He's extremely creative and precocious, which is exactly the kind of child that I see Justin having.

Thanks for reading!

I KNEW Justin would be unharmed. And don't tell me it is just one possible scenario!

Lovely, lovely fic! Luke reminds me so much of my big son it's uncanny. More, please!

You're welcome to tell yourself whatever you want about it--I prefer to think that things ended up happily as well. *g*

I was a lot like Luke as a child, too--very bossy, very creative, but usually falling victim to my own cleverness before I ever got anything off the ground. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it so much!

My non-native speaker brain is on full speeds since yesterday. Is there a double meaning for Kapooie Boy? Or is it just supposed to sound funny?

And again, like the others, I cry for MORE out of this 'verse. This idea is too good and orignial to burry it so soon. *builds up the pressure* Just like you I have lots of problems with the usual B/J+kids stories and I love your version.

No, there's no double-meaning. It's an onomatopoeia usually used to describe something blowing up in a comic book, and it sounds pretty funny as well.

As I've told everyone else, I don't think that there will be more from this series, but I suppose you never know. It could happen!
