Coming out of lurking, I'd like to say I absolutely love this series as a whole. :) I've just found myself really intrigued by the concept and where you're taking it.

I really really enjoyed this update. I feel so torn. I totally understand why Jack is upset and wants the others to know, but I also understand Ianto's position. I just.. argh. Torn. :(

Also, that is not how you say goodnight, Jack. :P How can anyone go to sleep after that? It'd be pointless to try.

Thank you! I really, really love writing for this series, simply because it's just so much fun to write these versions of jack and Ianto. Their dynamic is just the best.

This is a pretty difficult situation. I actually had a lot of trouble writing this, because it's so hard to know which direction to take this in. Jack and Ianto are ridiculously well-matched here, in both personality and in justification.

Also, I seriously doubt that Jack went right to sleep after that kiss. There was some serious naughty business going on in Ianto's bed, first... *g*

This is soooooooooo sad. I understand Jack's position - to a point. He has obviously given little thought to what immortality might have cost Ianto, or even of what death could mean to him. Hopefully, they'll be able to talk and Ianto will feel free to share the source of his fears with Jack.

To be fair, Jack's had a rough couple of days. He's sort of still in shock, even if he doesn't realize it, and coupled with his selfish tendencies... you get this. But I think that Ianto's made him pause and think about things, and at the end of the story you see him really just starting to comprehend Ianto's situation.

Not sure when more will be out, but when it is, I guarantee we'll be seeing more of Jack and Ianto's relationship, and how it's progressing.

Just a bit confused; if Ianto has only escaped when the Tower fell, how is he suposed to have been running TW3 for years? Did I miss something?

When Ianto says "prisoner", he doesn't mean a literal, in-a-cell prisoner. He's talking more about the fact that Torchwood press-ganged him into working for them. It's heavily implied in TW canon that Jack had two options: work for Torchwood, or be studied by Torchwood. Ianto was given the same deal.

Sorry for the confusion!
