Entry #C-9: "Chastised"

May 26, 2009 03:25

The times are changing.

Soon, my samurai will all have to seek different paths... but for now, I am still a Shogun. The men in this part of the country still obey my will.

I had thought, by this time, that I would have a wife.

I am nervous about the rate of revolt. It does not bode well. I can only wonder how much longer this way of life can

Heeheeheeheehee

I like this way of life, lord. It makes me feel all tingly.

Tell me, how is life for you currently? Hm?

Certainly better than fits of self-loathing and madness, the like of which I know you still fall victim to.

I have my trials and my sorrows, but in that I am not like you, I am blessed.

Trials and sorrows that disappear when you're gone. Gonegonegone. Must make you gone forever so sorrow disappears. Lord gone. Sorrow gone. Nyeeheehee!

As you well know, I'm tougher than that.

May your wishes be reflected upon the one who truly deserves to disappear. My sorrow will heal, but your diseased soul is the world's problem.

Time will do as it will, my lord. Mere mortals cannot prevent its flow. We take what small happiness we can whilst we still breathe.

May fate speed you on your quest for a woman with whom to share your joys and sorrows.

Thank you for your kind wishes. They warm my heart, unlike many wishes others have expressed concerning my fate...

My sorrows remain mine alone. Why would one seek a woman's comfort except to speed himself toward joy? It is more welcome to share joy than to share heartache.

What is your name?

I do not know the circumstances under which others would curse you and your fate, my lord, but might I recommend more time spent in the presence of others whose hearts and hands are warm, who speak words that are gentle?

It is more welcome to share joy, but no man is an island. Sometimes the sharing of a burden is necessary to lighten it.

I am called Kimiko, my lord, and your humble servant.

Kimiko, is it? "Noble Child?" I am called Ryuzaki. I am very pleased to make your aquaintance.

Gentle words are seldom heard by a lord of these times... it feels often as if my dominion is over death alone. But your words comfort me; thank you.

Wives always seemed like a waste of time to me. Are you sure you wouldn't rather have a puppy?

Puppies taste good...Taste nice...Human tastes better, however. Only when lean, though...Too much fat on some...taste bad...Horrible.

Women boring anyway. Haven't met interesting woman yet. Likely never will.

You eat puppies? But what about their wee little goo-goo eyes and their waggy tails? Do those taste nice as well?

Weell, you know, it's pretty hard to find a wife suited to you when what you're looking for in a woman is a good lean joint.

Meal only thing women worthwhile for. Men can have decent conversation and be a challenge. Sex with women isn't appealing either.

Yes, puppies taste nice...Kind of like chicken. Didn't try puppy eyes...Tried human eyes...Quite interesting, but not filling.
