The night before the start of classes, I finally became confident that this year was going to work out. Maria and Megan met for the first time--and got along!--and the three of us sat sprawled out on the floor of Maria's and my suite, sipping red wine out of Ikea flower pots (still awaiting Maria's wine glasses from home), laughing and catching up

You exist! Glad to see you are posting again, as promised -- not that I'm one to talk (perhaps I should start posting things with content ...). We should catch up at some point. In any case, best of luck with senior year -- enjoy it!

Indeed it is the Clark Park farmer's market! I'm really falling in love with West Philadelphia, the quiet, leafy neighborhoods beyond UCity's student apts and frat houses.

We do need to catch up soon! I'm so sorry I missed you before you left for school. Summer was unbelievably hectic after I got back from France. How do you like your program so far?
