I leave for France in two weeks. I have made no arrangements, David is in Moscow with no email access (according to Robbie Hart), I do not have recording equipment (and since I cannot reach David, it's not even certain that I'll have loans from the Ling department) . Perhaps this is why I'm polishing off the second bottle of white in Maria's room.

I'm insanely jealous of your research plans for the summer, so I hope that goes well for you. you'll have to tell me all the cool stuff you unearth with your fieldwork. oh, and you might be interested in linguaphiles. it's a ling geekery community I just recently joined, but I wish I'd found it sooner because I tend to find it quite interesting.
