I believe Moody is absent at least one buttock, due to the comment he made in retaliation to one of Tonks' questions. I was when Moody scolded Harry for keeping his wand in his back pocket in the fifth book. Tonks asked who had ever lost a buttock because they kept their wand in their back pocket, causing Moody to reply with a "Never you mind!"
