I started to do some googling for scholarly articles related to factors that influence squirrel populations in Texas. Then I remembered a hilarious anti-squirrel bird-feeder video that I meant to show you. The video links are along the bottom. I can't verify now, but I'm pretty sure that's the one I remember.

Actually, Marvel Comics had a short-lived super heroine named Squirrel Girl. Attempting to persuade C to dress up like this would probably be quite hazardous to my health.
