Thoughts on LiveJournal & Six Apart

Could it get any weirder, LiveJournal being purchased by Six Apart?  The two companies are so similar yet so dissimilar that it makes absolutely no sense as to why a purchase would be made.  Six Apart is more about the companies wishing to creating blogging sites while LiveJournal is and has always been about the user.  Though they say that that ( Read more... )

I still think Livejournal has gotten worse since they got rid of the invite codes.

I believe LJ has too many lamerz on it, weeding them out is so much a headache. It would be so much simpler to just relegate the lamers to non-paid status and allow us to exclude those from our post scans.

well, whatever happens to it, as long as the following are maintained: i can post my journals private or public. i can receive comments and have a friends list... and its free. even if i can't make it pretty... it's all good.
