Mate, I posted this masses ago! So much has happened since then.

Every morning I go down the steps at Stepney Green, I think about going right-not-left and catching the train out east and then some. That time I did.

I did the littoral boundary of Gunners Park en route to Southend. But not the interior. I remember dogs and geezers and a body of inland water.

What other attractions would you recommend in the vicinity? I may well go down again, maybe get there the Rochford way.
