We had someone that WAS going to take them home and care for them, but she ended up just leaving them here. So they are outside now and we don't know what to do with them.

They are sooo cute!

Awww, they are so tiny! They will die with no one to care for them. It is said that the best thing to do with a baby animal found like that is to leave it where you found it so the mother can find them again... but if she never shows up, certain death! I guess I'd probably leave them for another day (peeking at them every so often, I can't help myself), and if they were still there, then I'd take care of 'em.

I once found 5 abandoned tiny kittens too young to eat solid food, and bought a kitten nursing bottle and formula and everything. They were all fat and healthy by the time I was though with them. Heheh.

I hope it works out for the bunnies...

Actually, that's what we ended up doing, we put them back where we found them to see if the mother would return. But after a day, the mother was nowhere to be found. So, a co-worker took all the babies home and got advice on how to take care of them. :)

that's some serious cuteness...it would make an excellent Easter Card...I may steal it :-)

Where's the mama?

call the local wildlife management (should be in the phone book, or call the police to get their number).. or if you have a wildlife rehab place in your region, call them for advice. The bunnies' mother might be nearby & maybe she'll fetch them, so leaving them outside for now in a safely hidden place (to keep them safe from cats/dogs or predators) is probably the best thing, I'm guessing...

Plus, this gentleman on LJ will know how to advise you!

The baby bunnies are ADORABLE. Do they seem healthy? like they have a mum taking care of them?

They were all saved by a co-worker who took every one of them home the day after we found them. I don't remember how many there were, but as far as I know, they are all in good hands now! :)
