Last night's performance went off pretty well considering that we've only had 9 rehearsals for the show...and that includes the sitzprobe and dress rehearsals...since we didn't have any stage directions everything was pretty much improvisation. Well this is the company's first production and for lack of experience I guess, she just told us to characterize on our own. It was a broadcast with an audience just like the original broadcast and there wasn't much room to DO staging. The orchestra was up there on the stage with us. What-EV. It went off well.
