answer: if they are buddhists, shouldn't even the thought of violence ruffle their feathers?

also; "and this leader will see serpents in two and ten. because this has already happened, and it will happen again. i am an instrument of god."

Long time no see! I hope everything's well in your corner of the world.

If Buddha had as good a sense of humour as I'd like to think he did, I'm sure he would have appreciated the religious confusion of devout Catholics laying coins on their victims' eyes for the Greek pagan Boatman, all the while mumbling a vapid semi-prayer. (We loves Boondock Saints, we really do - even if it's because it's so delightfully bad in places.)

Good questions. Never stop asking them, John.

Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.

Eli.

It's seems like everyone here in Canada enjoys that movie to a great extent ergo 'it is cool and awesome,' so on and so forth. I don't know what it was when I saw the movie, but there things about it that made me think it was, well, kind of cheesy, but still good to watch at times.

Long story short, I thought I was the only one.

How do the Finnish fare?

I think it really depends on the Buddhist. (We're all human). But, I think it would be the goal of the Zen Buddhist to accept all things in peace.

As much for Zen Buddhists as many other religions too, I'm sure. I don't know where the dilemma came from, exactly. I guess I find it weird now, the thought of feeling pain and suffering from watching dramatizations on TV.

good one, mista jangles

Is feeling fear suffering? It seems so.

You should read Bee season. If I try to really explain it I'll get a headache, so just take my word for this one; it's worth reading. It's got some crazy, amusing theology stuff in it, but .. yeah. Read it. I lent my copy to Alex, but she isn't going to be reading it for months, so you might be able to wrestle it from her.

but,
the real question is
If God is like the foreman of the universe, does he get one of those administrative trailers?
