Not to me, but to a friend of mine in a community I frequent. One of her real life friends visited and then decided to write a satirical post about the barn where she works and keeps her horse, and another person found enough information about her to mail the post to her boss.
awww i'm so sorry you feel this way. :( i feel like i ruined it for everybody. i also went back and went thru all my tags and locked ANYTHING that had to do with the barn in more than a passing fluffy bunny love way, and will be changing my whole journal around (if i keep it). it's sad that things have to be like this, huh?
YOU did not ruin anything for anyone, and it was most definitely not your fault! It sucks all around - I'm not even involved, and I feel like I have to modify the way I post in my journals!
It sucks to have to be so careful- I understand where you're coming from though - some people take what is on the internet and totally go overboard and get freaky about it. People wonder about alias and anonymity, and it's partly because regular people don't want to get hassled by psychos.
What's really sad is that someone has so much time on their hands, and use their powers for evil instead of good. If they want to make a difference in someone's life, why not open a soup kitchen,....
An addiction to Drama feeds the same neural receptors that an addiction to crack, gambling, or porn does. People who need drama are junkies, and don't even realize it.
