The idea of pirating music is that these artists deserve our money.
That they're the ones in the media, that they're the ones we adore and look up to and that they deserve our $12.99 $19.99 and $100.00. that that we owe them for blessing our world with their poorly written bridges and cookie cutter break up anthems.
That we're in debt to their quirky actions and pretty little boyband images, that they're so much better than us and deserve to have pounds and dollars and euros just thrust at them, thanking them for their music and influence and existense.
This is ridiculous.
We are why they are here in the first place.
