I think it was Trotsky or Lenin who asserted that the language of insult is an out-growth of class conflict, and a way in which the classes keep themselves in line. Given that I can't think of an insult that isn't racist, sexist, classist, or ableist, I think I have to agree. I suppose the answer would be to just not insult others.

Then again, motherfucker isn't racist/sexist/classist/ableist. Phew!; and I thought I'd have to be nice for a second there.
