What a roller coaster of emotions this chapter was! I was having great fun reading it because as a wee roxy, plucky young folks making their way through the worst on their own were my fav types of story (still are!) and then this happened:

“A gift from a green-eyed boy…” Jared’s voice came out in a whisper.
“You’re Jensen of Ackles!”
“Graw.”

and I swear, I actually got a shiver reading it. But you couldn't stop there, you had to make me cry! How dare you?

I was happy that Jared apologized-he's so smart about himself and the world-and Jensen was happy to take his apology. And then-well, not exactly and exit pursued by a bear but I have to say, I really was breathless reading this part. I loved the way Jared kept sort of losing-the bear not giving up on him, chasing and chasing until suddenly everything is on fire and I thought, at last!

Jared gasped. He was hanging in midair, wrapped in a dragon’s claws.

YES!!

A wee roxy had good taste in stories : ))))

You know I worried about this scene, I wanted Jared to know Jensen's identity before Dragon!Jensen saved him and for the next chapter, it was just going to work better that way, but I worried that the reason Jared got so upset was too frivolous, but then I thought, HECK, he's a teen boy, left isolated and alone, he's ready to crack over just about everything, but this bedrock thing of Jen the raven helping him was something he was very much clinging to in order to keep his sanity. I'm sooooo happy to hear that this worked for you.

And yeah, poor Jared, he was some superhero in the woods, he was a bumbling boy, but he had a lot of gumption and just kept running. Gotta admire that : )

Gotta keep it interesting ♥ I'm so happy you're enjoying this!!!!!!
