You are NOT a coward. You are NOT a bad person. You are NOT fucked up. You never have been, you aren't right now, and you never will be. You couldn't be further away from those things.
Sara, you are honest and caring and strong. Even though I don't call nearly as much as I need to (and want to), please know that I love you, Sister. ("I less than three you")
Sara....you're a cool kid, but quit it with that low self-esteem and hating yourself thing. It just doesn't work for you. DOn't make me smack you and you know I will. Well, I miss you friend and my t-shirt. We should go to the srsc sometime. ~Allison

The blue funk of angst.....all things in their own time... old girl ....all things in time. Enjoy, bitch, moan, scream, chuckle, cry, mourn, wallow, and skip through this creepy period of self discovery....this is what you are supposed to be doing at this point in your life. Falling in love with yourself is a difficult process and when you do you will find love like none other. Some of us do it by seeing our own reflections in someones eyes....some of us by looking in the mirror. Which one are you going to be? At any given point in time we are all cowards, totally fucked up and bad people....but there are moments....yes there are moments.....live in the moments...
It is an illusion that youth is happy, an illusion of those who have lost it; but the young know they are wretched for they are full of the truthless ideals which have been instilled into them, and each time they come in contact with the real, they are bruised and wounded. W. Somerset Maugham (1874 - 1965), 'Of Human Bondage', 1915

You are far from "fucked up", and you are finally doing what you feel. There is nothing shameful in that.
