Plus, I wouldn't feel like a loser. Being a year and a half behind schoolwise is nothing. So many people have switched majors after two years and are now basically TWO YEARS behind. There are so many people that have taken years off to travel and just get work experience... Don't feel like you're behind.
I feel you on the location change. I'll be graduating at the end of this year, and I basically rushed through everything so I could leave.
You'll be fine.
