Happy early birthdaydarkmage7777777June 19 2009, 02:30:52 UTC
I was just checking LJ (I do this every 3-6 months), then found out someones birthday was in few days, so happy birthday... and a meme.. ouy, ok ill go along, but geting screenshots and fancy text commands and links are difficult so instead I will describe it, my wallpaper is a picture of a picture by Yoshitaka Amano where cloud from ff7 is on a bike, and the bike is racing through a scene... wait I have a link to it
"There is also a 2007 film also titled Skinwalkers, in which biker werewolves plan to murder a thirteen year-old boy reputed to be the "savior" of the good werewolves who will cure/end lycanthropy" so then I thought, biker werewolves WTF sounds kind of funny and random thing for a movie to have, then I remembered that you said you saw it. So anyway having seen the movie is the Wikipedia description about it accurate?
Having not seen it I imagine kid might say something like -"oh no a gang of biker werewolves is after me they can go twice as fast. they are trying to kill me because the prophecy says I am going to make them stop being furry, and they want to be furry and go around on motorcycles forever"
Re: Question about movie skinwalkersmexwerewolfAugust 24 2009, 04:45:54 UTC
That movie was the typical "B" movie for werewolves. The effects are average considering current technology and you never saw a complete transformation. It's basically the people shaking madly as they become wild beasts.
The story is quite lame. The thing is that werewolves (or skinwalkers)must live a life being chained to walls in order to not kill anyone during the full moon. If they do so, they become "bad" werewolves. Bad werewolves love to be werewolves, and good werewolves hate it. So instead of just being a conscious decision, it is just the fact that you tasted blood or not to become "evil". Only hard-core werewolf fans (like me :) ) should watch it.
The whole saviour thing is the typical except that the final twist is interesting. But that's a very small interesting part in a very bad, "B" type movie.
