okay, i now remember, why i usually hate sight-seeing trips lol. MY FEET AND LEGS HURT LIKE FSKING HELL. idk, really ;w;~ too much walking around, i suppose. that's not gonna stop me tho... it MIGHT slow me down, but it's not gonna stop me xD. also: tired and veeeery exhausted, yaddayadda, on to the pictures :D!
the first picture is especially for you, buns xD... so you don't have to go creepy stalker and search every damn picture for them xD. emolga hair clips x3~~~.
so, since i hadn't been able to go to odaiba the day before, i decided to go there yesterday. and it's just like a freaking big holiday resort thingie, really. it's beautiful and very clean and scenic. and since it was a thursday, there were hardly any people there~ x3!
freaking palm trees!
and i finally found a vending machine that did not just sell ordinary drinks. AND ICE CREAM MACHINE! *w*!!
pretty... thing... from which i had a very nice view at tokyo bay x3.
then there was a playground... tho it was more like a play-pirate ship. made of awesome.
this is a tunnel that connects odaiba and the main land. it's an under water street for cars and trucks °^°!
and i honestly have no idea what this thing is. my bet is that it can shoot laser beams or something. =B
yeah. thanks for the warning xD. they were all over the place.
pretty view at the pretty rainbow bridge!!
then i discovered this area. there were lots of rocks and boulders TO CLIMB ON!! naturally, i had to go as far out into the sea as possible x'3. there was a nice rock there that was just perfect for sitting and waiting on.
what was behind me. odaiba sure seems futuristic.
weird stuff that was on the rocks. o-o
my view from my little rocky x3.
i have no idea what my camera did here. but pretty picture sure is pretty.
and this is what was right above me. blue skies. it was probably the nicest day so far, even though there was said to be rain and stuff.
then i waited for the sunset. because really, the only reason i went to odaiba was to see the rainbow bridge lighting up x3.
tako and yaki had fun, too x//3~
no lights yet~
prrrrretty orangey glow x3.
and then the first lights started to pop up x3. one by one.
absolutely beautiful x).
also: hey there, miss liberty's little sister :3!
one last picture of the bridge xD.
on my way home i was intrigued by a delicious smell in one of the train stations. it turned out the smell was comming from a store called "beard papa" o_o... AND THEY MAKE THE YUMMIEST CREAM PUFFS!
gaaaaawwwwd~~~.... |////D
so today, after sleeping in like whoa, i decided that it was time for more cultural things. so... have some weird ass graffitti first.
then i went to yasukuni shrine. which is a war memorial. and once i got there, i was greeted by colourful balloons and rows upon rows of food sellers. seems the sakura matsuri has now officially begun x3. just in time x3.
*w*
leaving all the colourful stuff behind, the actual shrine is also very pretty xD.
cherry blossoooooms x3.
these blossoms seriously make everything a lot prettier.
on my way back. COTTON CANDY!! with STITCH!!! homg stitch x3.
and... i couldn't believe it really, but this is a "doneru kebabu" stall... they're seriously selling döner here |D.
after that, i went through a park, which was directly on my way to my next destination: the imperial palace east gardens.
shiisa x3. /love
school girls is sailor fuku. /love
and yeah, once i got there, a sign said "CLOSED"........ turns out the gardens are closed on mondays and fridays. lol. ah well. i went up to a police officer asking for directions AND HE TOLD ME MY JAPANESE WAS GOOD!!!! FFFFHHHHHH!!!!!!! total and utter bliss.
so yeah i wandered around the garden to tokyo central station to find some food x'D.
tokyo central station building. does not look very japanese. and its interior is freaking BIG AND CONFUSING!
random huge bell Oo...
yeah... it looks like this vending machine is selling pringles |D... BUT it's actually selling TSHIRTS FOR KIDS!! lol. so that is my first really unusual vending machine right there x3.
that's it already °w°.
now i have seen pretty much all the major things i wanted to see... so starting tomorrow, i well be mostly revisiting favourite locations. and the plan for tomorrow is shibuya crossing once again and kiddy land for extensive souvenir shopping x3!
