i figured out how to get past some of the internet security blocks at work. i still can't get onto email, but i can access most other sites. yay. this is the first Sunday i have worked at this job. i used to work Saturdays but while i was on maternity leave the scheduling changed and my team works Sundays instead. it's pretty slow so far. it ( Read more... )

so in reviewing my journal apparently i failed to note that Chad has finally gotten responses from all the colleges he applied to, and it looks like we are indeed going to California. we have applied for on-campus housing (they have apartments for people with children) but there are only 11 available so hopefully we will be able to get one. it ( Read more... )

so Tristan's first appt at the pediatrician went fine. he is growing well, he weighed 8 lb 3 oz and is 20 1/2 inches long. when i weighed myself at my mother-in-law's house yesterday i weighed 160 lbs. so i have lost about 22 lbs in the last 3 weeks with another 25 to go. making progress though. not a lot is new. still no word from Brown or MIT for ( Read more... )
