my journal is friends only now. tired of anons and trolls. if i'm going to pay for this journal, i certainly don't need assholes posting in it. besides, i largely use this to keep in touch with a small group of friends here at lj, and occasionally ramble and vent. why do i need to make that public

during the time i spent as a website admin, i became completely intolerant of trolls. especially the anonymous ones. i'm not going to put up with it here. besides, i use lj to keep up with people i already know, not so much as a social platform. yeah, i've met a few cool people here, such as yourself, but it's not why i got a journal here...

i don't blame you about intolerant trolls. actually i got an LJ at first to keep in touch with 2 old friends, then found a whole bunch of other old friends unrelated, and then got other old friends to get journals, and met cool people so really it's been invaluable. one of my best friends and i are keeping better touch than we have in 3 years.
luckily i haven't gotten any trolls YET, just one who was following a friend to troll ME. so i think no anon comments on my journal now. it's your journal, fuck everyone else. :D

I didn't even attend quatercon this year, yet I'm making friends from it. I never realised what a social animal I was. Either that, or msanborn has been telling stories about me again... ;-)
