I think, for those of us that are fans of any sci-fi show or book or movie, that we share a common vibe about the gadgets FROM said media. I don't want a TARDIS....I want the bridge of a Klingon Bird of Prey as my funroom when I have a house of my own....including the fogginess of it. My Captains Chair would have couches beside it though...for other people to sit on, of course. It wouldn't be fair to make everyone else in the room stand while watching the 101" HDTV screen. heh

All captain's chairs on Star Trek are missing one thing: A cup holder.

While the omni is beyond asskickery, I would have such trouble justifing that kind of price. Mostly because I have A LOT of "cool shtuffs" that sit on shelves and I look at from time to time. Also not a lot of disposable income. :)

As for the Shared excercise: My house is full of that stuff. seriously, it's everywhere. I have a wolverine bobblehead in my bathroom. But I will aim for my studio room

1) The biggest inspiring thing for me to look at whilst drawing: My signed Bernie Wrightson Frankenstein print

2) A framed fake newspaper from "The Racoon City Times" S.T.A.R.S Cop Suspended Over Alleged Zombie Sightings

3) Blues Brothers poster beside the bag I got from the House of Blues last Comic Con

4) Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman DC comics company poster.

5) The print of the x-ray of my hand with a needle jammed into my thumb

You want to see my computer desk, then. If anything is quite clearly a TARDIS in disguise, it's my computer desk. It even has a little mini police-box style TARDIS sitting beside the monitor, disguised as a USB hub ^_^
