iPhone Battery Life Issues?

Is anyone having recent iPhone battery life issues? I've noticed that since Sunday (9/20) or Monday, my battery has been draining like crazy. I use my phone so much that I feel like I notice changed behavior as though it was my own health. I'm currently using a 3GS running 3.1.

I don't have a 3GS. My battery life has seemed unaffected by the 3.1 upgrade.

I'm still using a 2G iPhone from August 2007. I still get very good battery life. 3.0 OS, I think.

It's technically work's 3GS. My wife got the hand-me-down 2G (warranty replacement from 8/09) which is doing great battery-wise with OS 3.1. I should have included that in the question.

I have the same problem, I dont remember when it exactly started but it was nearly like in your case, from sunday or mondey 9-20 ....
Battarey is working only half day nearly... problems with recieving calls, SMS also...
the day before I installed real soccer application... that added notification button in settings , maybe it does smth bad there? now I turned it off, also PUSH turned off... interesting what will heppen

Our exchange server went down on Monday/Tuesday overnight. Thursday my 3G discharged the battery in about 3 1/2 hrs (felt very hot). Thursday night I upgraded to 3.1 and all of my contacts and calendar events are now gone. Definately a connection here somewhere.
