You're really passionate about the things you like, and not ashamed to show your love for things that some people would consider "geeky", which is cool. I love the way you are so often happy and full of enjoyment of life, and how you believe so strongly in things like love and goodness and positivity. You should have more confidence in yourself, and not worry so much about what people think of you and whether they like you. You're fun to be around.

Hate to say it but I have to agree on some of these points. Sometimes it feels like you don't have enough time for some of us outside of doing your own thing. When you come to Conventions it'd be ace to see a bit more of who you are, and not what you're trying to be. I think you are ambitions but sometimes being more decisive about things might help, like making a decision and seeing it through rather than quickly giving up and moving onto another thing (In many senses of the word-Things you want to do, people you want to be with) I think you just need to continue growing and maturing and overtime you'll find it easier to do this, you are still young and seem to put pressure on yourself. Just slow down and see everything around you that you have, you have a lot more than some people stop wishing it away and wanting the impossible. Enjoy who you are and what you have, you don't always have to put the act on with us or be the one everyone is looking at. TBH most of us love you more when you are being humble Mark who is a decent mate to ( ... )

Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel like you're neglecting our particular friendship at all. We both have our own agendas and you have always made time for me in the past, which has meant a lot and helped me through some difficult situations.

However I do think you are very 'all talk and no action'. You make big plans and then try hard to knock them down. This is not a good thing to do. If you want to improve yourself then DO IT. Don't fret about what could go wrong or how hard it might be, just get on with it. Don't say you'll do something and then go back to playing games!

Don't put off 'til tomorrow what you can do today!

I think that sometimes your spontaneous plans can overshadow your friends and everyday life, making others feel that it is impossible to compete or that you don't care about them. You need to stay a little more grounded and only work towards one or two big things/or/dreams at a time, planning them out more carefully so that they don't fall apart and leave you feeling bad before you immediately go in search of another goal.

We all know you are a genuine, kind person, just don't let your spontaneity get the better of you.

Wow.

What. A load. Of bullshit.

I'd read all the other shit before I looked at this. A bunch of tits asking a guy to "be humble" and "selfless".

"Come to a con to see us! BTW don't do any of the other things you enjoy - just come to make us feel loved!".

Anyone NOT seeing the irony of that here?

Great advice to follow. "Put us infront of your own desires. Ground your dreams and slow down because we feel neglected". How terribly, terribly selfish.

You should want to sky rocket your friends into space if that's their dream - not cloud over the launch day because you want to spend a few more minutes with them. Wankers.

Sigh...you have such a way with words...but I do agree. You should support your friends and help them whenever you can in whatever they want to do. Unless its killing people...in which case handcuffing them to a signpost might be more advantageous. :S
