This is cool. We did this PR stunt to show off our capabilities by "optimizing" the poltical campaigns - letting consumers decide from a host of viable VPs and issues, which two pairs are the optimal running mates and which issues are the most important for each party to discuss ( Read more... )

Nope, that is our CMO. He headed up the effort on this and always dresses nice. Our CEO hadn't shaved and just got back from having the flu, so he avoided the cameras!

what did you think of the fact that Colin Powell optimized across both parties?

Him optimizing with Republicans is no surprise at all. I'm almost surprised he did so well with Democrats, but I kinda wonder if maybe it was cuz they wanted someone with maturity and foreign policy credentials to counter-balance Obama.

I also thought the Globe article made it sound like a simple Internet poll.
