If you're considering a PSP but would rather not buy a closed system that locks out third party software, you have another option. The GP2X is an exciting new gaming device that even includes a SDK for porting software.

rawr. i've been contemplating on a portable gaming console for a long time, really thought of the psp...damn this looks good.

and the new iPod too. rawr.

depends on the titles you want i guess. thing with the gp2x is that it runs linux so i don't know if the popular PSP games will run on it. last i heard the PSP goes for 14k. ;) ipod nano, around 13k. do-not-disturb-gamer/music lover force field, priceless.

the new ipod that plays videos! that's the ultimate do not disturb!! :) or do we go on a trip? buy a new cam? or a powerbook?

yes! and if you're watching comedy, it'll get you the ultimate labo-ng-tumatawang-magisa looks from people. ;)

personally, i'd choose go on a trip. your canada-europe plan sounds like fun fun fun!
