The US Library of Congress has opened a flickr account. And for their opening salvo, they've uploaded 3,115 images from their archives. Everyone's invited to comment and tag to help complete the information on the photos. This is what technology was meant for.http://www.

Awesome news. I wish our local library did the same thing. It's a bitch to go to the archives in Ateneo to scan photos. BTW which reminds me I have to renew my Flickr account!
