The "No traditions," part is at least in the spirit of the Reformation. They are very protestant. Perhaps they do not believe in the value of tradition but instead insist upon the rallying cry of "sola scriptura."

I agree that we should be known more for what we are for than for what we are against. If I have used your questions to level a critique at Reformation, it is because I wonder about the necessity of such a radical break.

Unfortunately, we've been to this church. It has a huge turn around in attendance because it borders on a cult. Last time we went there were less than 50 people there. They don't allow baggage because there's already plenty laying around. One of the benefits of traditional churches or denominations is that they have to answer to someone else --- accountability. None of that goes on here.
