Oh man, thank you so much! I love the silly bantering and the lightheartedness. And man, Aaron and Michael do Disney. On Gay Day. Awesome!
"Makes you wish you'd signed with Nike now, doesn't it?"
Hee!
"I didn't know you were blind."
Double hee! And the violated in Disneyland quote, and somehow you've managed to hit all my favorite sections and rides in Disney. I rather like what you said a couple comments above, about how Aaron and Michael don't often directly compete against each other, so it loses some of the entanglements, and that's one of the reasons I've always had a thing for this pairing. It's different from lots of the other direct competition ones. And this was totally sweet, and just a really nice thing to receive. Thanks so much!
You're welcome! *hugs* I am so glad to hear that you liked it! I've been so nervous all week to post it! haha
I tried to keep things as light as possible, with a bit of smut thrown in for good measure lol I actually just got back from Disneyland so it was really fun to go back in my mind and hit up all of the awesome rides with these two. I can just imagine the craziness that would ensue if they actually went to a theme park together, or a road trip of some kind. hmmm... that could be interesting lol
The more I think about these two together, the more I like it. I feel like they would be more comfortable with each other simply for the reason that they don't really compete. I could also see Aaron as being someone Michael could turn to for advice since he is older and a bit more worldly, plus he seems closer to Michael's personality type.
*shrugs* I can never give up on Phlochte, but you're beginning to convert me...this pairing is coming in a close second!!!
Hey, at least you've finished before the deadline! I am busting my ass trying to make it, and I'll probably be racing to the last minute.
I really do love the amusement park theme, and coincidentally, the roadtrip theme as well. (Weirdly enough, I have an Aaron/Michael roadtrip piece and a Ryan/Michael Disney thing on the backburner, but everything's kind of getting pushed back until the ficathon's over.)
And yes, I totally agree on your assessment of Aaron and Michael. It must be nice to have someone you can hang out with without worrying about the complication of racing them, and such. And they were Olympic roommates in the Sydney games, when they were both all young and jailbait-y, so it's fun to imagine the kind of hijinks they might have gotten up to.
Though, I heard Michael plans to move into the backstroke competition end of things, so who knows.
omg! hello my dear, it's lovely to see you on LJ! I'm glad you liked that line. The whole time we were in Disneyland I totally wanted to use it, but since ya'll hadn't read the story it wouldn't have been as funny. Next time, perhaps? *winks*
Haha yeah definitely. And I did some research on Aaron. 'Cause, you know, I had no idea what he even looked like. You REALLY like swimmers, don't you? Got a thing for tall, muscular guys in tiny bits of clothing? ;)
