I hate online dating.

This is probably the simplest way I can describe my depression at times like this.

Words often fail me.//My appeals fall on deaf ears.//Talking to myself.

My eyes are heavy.// Unable to sleep, I scroll. //It's now 4 am.

Forcibly punctured.
Now everything is sticky.
Stop buying gel caps.

I know they mean well.

But some platitudes bring dread.

It could be much worse.

The mask on my face.

Blocking sickness, hiding pain.

Not much smiling now.

I'm not that much different than others.

It's the same for my sister and brothers.

I don't want to judge or cling to this grudge,

But much of the fault is my mother's.

For love, in my life, I am yearning.

Kept awake, late at night, by this burning.

Wishing I was dead, I lay there in bed.

Cannot sleep, due to tossing and turning.

My apartment complex is holding a "Cutest Balcony" contest for the best-decorated balconies. As a ground-level apartment dweller, I am ineligible to participate. I think that is kinda "Floorist", but then again a Florist might end up winning the contest as well. It's rigged!

For starters, it may only be Tuesday, but it has been incredibly busy at work this week. That's partly due to the fact that I took last Friday off. The production facility that supplies me with parts ran on Saturday, so I had three days of work to do when I got in on Monday.
