Bai bai M'ville, hello Brunswick

Yesterday, Cate picked me up from Savannah where Terri, Stacie and Brandy spent the day wandering around. After she got there and we talked a bit we drove to Brunswick, to Tokyo Joe's. A Japanese steak restaurant where her sister works and had a bite to eat. I also met her parents there as well ( Read more... )

Wow... small world. My mother lives on St. Simons and until Friday I was down there. Be sure to get your friend to take you to Spanky's! I'd recommend the chicken fingers, they're excellent!

Also check out the Lighthouse; my mother is the boss there. Its an awesome place to go, and climbing the Lighthouse is a little chilly during the winter, but very fun.

Hmmmm, you should also see if you can go fishing; try to find somebody to take you out to STS (I think thats the name of it). STS is the last buoy until Africa from our coast. There are a couple reefs out there that are pretty good fishing. If you go out alone, which I don't recommend, make sure you've got some good nautical maps, since there is a toxic dump about 3-4 klicks off the coast of Jekyll.

Heh... if you can stand it, you should also check out the beach. Water's cold this time of year...

We may go to the lighthouse this afternoon actually.. :)

And I'd definitely won't go out fishing alone! I doubt I'll go at all, but thanks for the heads up anyways!
