This is basically what I do, except I also specify that it crosspost only when I give a Tumblr post a certain tag (in my case, "crosspost").

What I can't figure out is how to get it to crosspost pictures as well. IFTTT habitually ignores images in Tumblr posts, so I've just been appending "click through to see images/full post" to my "from Tumblr" link that appears at the bottom of the post.
