over the long weekend, I had a brief spurt of inspiration to maybe write a Valentine's Day outtake for Hands of Clay, and got 900 words in before i wrote myself into a corner that made me lose the buzz. Work today was a creative energy suck so I had nothing left to give once I got  home, but maybe I'll try tomorrow.

and yeah Civil War will kill me, no matter what happens. I'm already sad. Why can't they all just be happy. Why can't they all be friends and fight evil together. Why can't something nice happen to Bucky Barnes already.

by making us choose a side, Marvel is pushing their audience to play into the idea that there is a right or wrong in this conflict AND plays right into the hands of the bad guys by masking the real villain in the piece. Boo to you, Marvel. Boo to you.

Slightly worried over here as well, but ... cautiously optimistic about Civil War because yay, a movie with Steve and Tony and Bucky? And we'll either get the epic friendship before Tony and Steve break up, or the epic making up after, and either will be great to see?
