So in follow up to yesterday's post: the brakes were shot, there was something wrong with the transmission, and the battery was failing. I bought the truck (a 2008 Ford Ranger) in 2013 and haven't had any maintenance issues with it before, so I suppose it was only a matter of time before things started to fall apart. Anyway, now I am much poorer
