So, I've had this account for eight years now. In internet years, that's practically forever.
Today I backed it all up and deleted almost all of the entries. It's something I've been meaning to do for a long time now -- doing it tonight was due to a number of factors, but mostly I wanted a clean slate.
Of interest to you, my flist:
1) I am not vanishing. I will still be around the intertubes, and I will continue reading my friends page for the foreseeable future.
2) I am not deleting any RP journals! Yet, anyway. I'm just dumping eight years' worth of personal e-baggage.
3) All those entries (and their comments) are not GONE, they're just tucked away on my hard drive. Someday I might repost the ones that merit it on my current journal, but in the meantime, yes, I still have your three-year-old comment!fic safe and sound.
